Early In The Morning Last Day Of School

It was the last day of school and after DoDo had ironed his clothes as he usually do every morning because he wanted them freshly pressed he got ready and we started off to school. I was excited because it was the last day that I would have to take him to school. He always had to stop at the corner store for candy and snacks. It was a must. So, after dropping him off at school I went on to work. About 9:00AM, I got a call from school indicating that DoDo was sick and that I needed to come and pick him up. When I got to school he was in the nurse’s office with his head down on the desk. So, I touched him and asked what is wrong. He shook his head. As we left the school’s parking lot, I asked him if he wanted to go to the doctor? By then he asked me to pull over for a minute. Then he started vomiting I knew them what the matter was. He was a little bit intoxicated. So, instead of going to the doctor’s office we came home and he headed for his bedroom. I went into the kitchen and noticed that the bottle of E & J that I had left on the counter from the night before was empty. After DoDo’s nap I informed him that cocktails were for mature adults, that they should be consumed on a full stomach and not early in the morning. He told me that I didn’t have to worry about him doing that again he learned his lesson.
